What are the benefits of Red Status?
When you first join Velocity, you automatically start with Red Status.
Red earns you 5 Velocity Points and 5 Status Credits for every dollar you spend on flights with Virgin Blue, Pacific Blue and Polynesian Blue. You also earn Points and Status Credits with V Australia, based on the type of fare purchased and how far you fly. You can even earn when you fly with our network Airline Partners.
If you earn enough Status Credits within your 12-month Qualification Period, your Status will rise to Silver and then Gold, which also raises your earning power for both Velocity Points and Status Credits. See more about Silver and Gold Status.

Keep your Membership Card handy and show it whenever you’re checking in. Your Card has information about your Status to help you keep track of important dates.
